We all love eating them, but for some reason, an omelette is always hit and miss. Here is the perfect method for making an omelette in our opinion!
BEAT the number of eggs, water, salt and pepper in small bowl until blended.
HEAT the butter in 7 to 10-inch nonstick omelette pan over medium-high heat until hot. TILT the pan to coat bottom. POUR IN the egg mixture. The mixture should set immediately at edges.
GENTLY PUSH cooked portions from edges toward the centre with inverted turner so that uncooked eggs can reach the hot pan surface. CONTINUE cooking, tilting pan and gently moving cooked portions as needed.
When the top surface of the eggs has thickened and no visible liquid egg remains, PLACE the filling on one side of the omelette. FOLD omelette in half with turner. With a quick flip of the wrist, turn pan and INVERT or SLIDE omelette onto a plate. SERVE immediately.
